Level: Senior / Lead
 

As a Data Solution Architect with a focus on Azure and Databricks, you will design the architecture of modern data-driven platforms. You will develop scalable Lakehouse architectures that support both traditional analytics and BI applications as well as machine learning and AI workloads.

In addition to the technical architecture, you will play a key role in consulting our clients—from the initial solution strategy and solution design through to implementation.

You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Cloud teams, and business departments, and provide technical leadership within projects. In the long term, there is also the opportunity to take on people management responsibilities.
 

Your Responsibilities

• Architecture and design of modern data platforms based on Azure, Databricks, and Lakehouse architectures

• Development of scalable end-to-end data solutions, from data integration to analytical use

• Design and implementation of ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark

• Use of the Databricks ecosystem (Delta Lake, MLflow, Databricks Workflows, Unity Catalog)

• Building and integrating machine learning workflows and MLOps structures

• Technical leadership and coordination of multiple data and analytics projects

• Mentoring and technical guidance of Data Engineers and analytics teams

• Advising clients on the design of modern data and AI platforms

• Support for pre-sales and sales activities, such as:

  • Solution design and architecture concepts

  • Technical workshops with clients

  • Support in proposal and solution presentations

• Ensuring performance, scalability, and cost optimization in the cloud

• Development of best practices for data governance, security, and data quality
   

Your Profile

• Several years of experience designing and operating modern cloud data platforms

• Strong expertise in Azure, Python, SQL, and Databricks

• Solid experience with Lakehouse architectures and data engineering workflows

• Experience with MLflow, machine learning pipelines, and MLOps processes

• Experience with Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, and data orchestration

• Experience or interest in pre-sales and customer-oriented solution design

• Experience or initial exposure to technical leadership or project leadership

• Interest in potentially taking on people management responsibilities in the future

• Experience with CI/CD, Git, infrastructure automation, and performance optimization

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects as a Solution Architect

• Experience in the insurance or banking sector is a plus
